Important update on panel selection and descriptors in Part A :

Panel selection

Your proposal is evaluated by the panel linked to the first “project descriptor” you select — not chosen directly, as in previous years.

To set this, go to General Information → Project Descriptors in the submission forms and select at least 3 descriptors. Each descriptor is associated with a specific panel, and the first one you list determines the panel your proposal is submitted to.

Note: This is a change from previous years, when applicants selected their panel directly at the start of the submission process. Because of this, we strongly encourage applicants to think carefully about their intended panel and set it early by selecting their descriptors as soon as possible in the submission process, rather than leaving this until the end.

The Guide for Applicant has been updated accordingly.
